6 Simple Steps...Thats All You Need!

Most parents who are new to cloth diapering find pocket diapers the easiest to use!
Generally they come in OS, which means using the snaps you can adjust them to fit from approx. 8lbs-35lbs.  A one time investment to diaper your child from birth-potty training!  They're also great if you have more then one child in diapers (like me:))...you can use the same diaper on all your kids!

So how do these diapers work?

Here's what we do! :)

Here's the diaper, showing the pocket and insert

"Stuff" the insert into the pocket...for added absorbency where you need it, you can fold the insert.  I have boys so I fold it over in a third and put it right in the front, for a girl you can fold it in half and lay it in the middle of the diaper :)

Put diaper on baby, just like you would do with a disposable.

Get your side snaps where you need them for the snuggest fit

Now, this diaper is still way too big for Baby G in the rise.  If he messes in it, it will probably just go right out the sides!  You need to adjust the rise by using the snaps in the front :)

Baby G needs the rise on the smallest setting still, so we take the bottom row of snaps and bring it up to the top row.

All done!

Baby G is all diapered and ready to go!

It might take a little while to used to putting these diapers on.  If you only have one baby in them its super fast to put them on because you can leave the rise snapped where you need it!  I can change them now just as fast as I can a disposable :)
